This week, we were excited to welcome Marisha MacMorran and Flori Pate from Food Connection to the IRA Café Webinar Series on February 12th. Food Connection works to ease hunger, reduce food waste, and support the local food industry by redistributing surplus prepared food and purchasing meals from chefs to serve neighbors in need. With 40% of our food supply ending up in landfills, Flori and Marisha came together to make a meaningful impact in Asheville, NC.
